Has anyone tried the 'Nova ring?' I'm so confused at what birth control I should look into, I did speak with my gyno and she gave me the options that are right for mebased on my medical history (PMDD, alot of allergy issues, and Fibromyalgia. Also, very sensative to birth control pills.)
The gyno said my best option would be the Nova ring. I don't want to use anything hormonal, but the non hormonal IUD she said wouldn't be a good option for me considering it will probally cause me more pain then needed.
My husband and I are using condoms, but due to my allergy to latex (and it seems spermacide now) that is starting not to be the best option.
I'm just confused/concerned. We are pretty sure we will not have kids (Next time I have an appointment with my rheumatologist I am going to ask about the affects on fibro pain with pregnancy. At this point, I don't think I could handle a pregnancy well at all.)
I am just not sure if I am ready for him to have a vasectomy. It was my husband who brought it up first, he seems to have no problem doing it. He just wants us to have the intamacy back.
I'm not sure what to do. I know no one can can give me the answer, this is our choice, but I was wondering if anyone had a similar experiences, etc.
