Crock pot and bread machine are a busy mom's best friends! Many things are just as good or better after frozen. Nothing easier that pulling a bag of red sauce out of the freezer and boiling it as you boil the pasta. Throw in a salad a nice loaf of bread and a meal fit for a king.

I over cook pork and chicken. I have all my life. But in a nesco it is cooked perfectly. Well done yet juicy. Soups are delicious frozen. That way you're not eating the same thing several days in a row.

When my kids were small I planned my meals in advance. We shopped for a month at a time, only stopping to get fresh eggs in between. (Milk freezes well also). It was so satisfying to come home after a long day to have a wonderful home cooked meal waiting for me. It really did only take a few extra minutes in the morning.
