I agree with Mlyn, it depends what you pick up on. I think many people go to chat to forget about their problems, and just have fun. I see nothing wrong with that, as long as it is not hurtful or slanderous towards anyone. I have been in chat before where things got a little too wacky for me and I had to leave the room because I couldn't relate and I didn't feel like talking about a problem I was having because of the mood of the room being too overtaken by juvenile behavior, and the fact that no one seemed to care or want to listen to what I had to say. Other times, I have found great comfort and support. I guess it depends on the chat. I think it's fine to be silly now and then, but when people come in needing helpful advice or just someone to listen, others should be respectful. After all, that is what chat is for. I have witnessed many more disgusting things being talked about other than bad breath and boogers! And this isn't the first time juvenile behavior, as Bebop put it, has occurred. I personally apologize if I"ve ever offended anyone by getting caught up in acting silly. I just want to be supportive of others, as I hope they will be towards me.
