I hear you.
I love a shady spot. I will go totally out of my way to find one. I have even parked on the
other side of the store (as in where the employees park) because it was nice and shady. I hate a hot car, then you just need to use more fuel to power up the air-conditioner.
But I think I'm on my partner's "pet-peeves" list for that one.
