I wouldn't have been able to do that with my Effexor. Mine was a generic that was in tablet form. I've found Prozac to be OK, except that it doesn't work without Cymbalta, and Cymbalta doesn't work without the Prozac. At least Prozac is pretty inexpensive as a generic.
