We have 2 dogs, a beagle and a cocker spaniel.

We just found out yesterday that our cocker spaniel has cancer in his left hind leg, and the only way to cure it is to amputate the leg. I messaged someone on FB who knows a lot about dogs because she is in the rescue business. She told me that dogs do very well with only 3 legs.

He has so much life in him and has a very strong will, and a hell of a lot of spunk, so there is just no way we can put him down.

We found out about the cancer yesterday and are just waiting for the biopsy comes back to see exactly what type of cancer it is (a fast spreading one or a contained one). The surgeon told us that he will not notice the missing leg.

Ever since I heard about this, my mood has been all over the place.

Idk, I guess I just needed to vent about this.
