hey steph/all -
I'll list mine in a pseudo-order of how bad they are; they aren't necessarily always this way, but for the most part:
- shaking to the point I can't stand, especially legs
- everything around me gets so LOUD
- my heart beats out of my chest, sometimes so bad that I know I am going to have a heart attack
- short, rapid breathing and coughing like an asthma attack
- running, well forcing myself to try to (hard to do bcuz of phsycial issues)
- trying to find a 'safe zone' ASAP, i.e. my house or bedroom
- can't speak bcuz I'm too concerned with the things I've mentioned above and I MUST get to a 'hiding spot' ASAP to get it to subside
- dropping items that I pick up or try to pick up bcuz of shaking so bad
- LITERALLY counting seconds while I wait for a xanax to start working
These are about all I can think of bcuz just typing all that has given me the shakes!!! I swear I'm such a basket case and do not know why I even wake up in the AM anymore..... At 28 years old, I do NOT want to keep on doing this for the rest of my life... Wednesday cannot get here quick enough (next therpist appt.) and even that will take days of 'gearing up' to ensure I get there...
