Thank-you Sundayschild. Yes, there is truth in old wives tales. Old wives are often very wise, and know what they are talking about. My husband has also been telling me that there is a reason for it. If it were right, then I would have gotten in. But he doesn't know if it is this year or that school that isn't right. It is the school that made the most sense. There was a job open in that city last month that he could have easily transferred to, and we thought about doing that, as that was where I hoped to be next year. Neither of us felt right about him taking that job though. We thought maybe the timing was just not right (as I am committed to staying here to finish this semester). He didn't transfer, and now we can see that we were right about that anyway.
