I tried the nuva ring and it didn't help me much. I have PMDD, endometriosis, and polycystic ovarian syndrome. Right now I'm on Yasmin and take it continuously for 3 months, then go off for a week. (so 4 periods a year) I've been on Yasmin not quite 2 months now, think its working a bit better than the other birth control I was on. I have my tubes tied but still need to be on birth control for the above mentioned things. Hope you find something that works for you.
