I just got a call about $7700 worth of hospital bills (and that's just for one hospital affiliation). I have no way to pay for it and am not eligible for their financial assistance programs. I am so frustrated.

We ask for help and end up punished with these bills. We go to the hospital and sometimes staying longer than necessary, and yet we are billed these ridiculous amounts.

Having these bills and the constant phone calls that come with them just makes my mental health worse, thus making me worried about needing to go in again, and knowing I can't go because I can't afford it.
