many years ago i was introduced to the concept of irrational thinking, introduced in a book called a new guide to rational living, by dr. albert ellis, phd. i thought i'd share the list of thinking we can all posess to some degree based on learning a belief system that can be flawed. there are suggested ways to improve those beliefs and become more rational in our everyday living. here is the list of flawed thinking one may have per dr. ellis. i'm a work in progress. have been working on them for 30 yrs.
