be careful, my wife had a stroke 11 years ago after the birth of our girl and recieved disability. a few years later she was doing better and wanted to go back to work. we found about the ticket to work program and 8 years later she recieved an associates degree and was referred to a agency to help her find work. A few weeks ago we received a pile of papers from SS to review her condition. My wife was left with some vision loss, fatigue, stimulation processing problems, left arm pain and frequent migraines. the next thing we recieved a letter saying that she has improved and her benefits are going to stop, we can appeal and received benefits for 2 more months but if our appeal is denied we are liable for those 2 months. we've spoken to 2 lawyers in the orlando, fl area and they did not want to take the case. this is what's happening to us. any suggestions or advise would be appreciated or if anyone knows a lawyer that is able to handle this case in the orlando, fl area would be helpfull. thanks. don't be discouraged, just try to stick with a counselor who is going to be there til the end, my wife has had 4 counselors with different philosophies on how to make it to the finish line.
