Good for you! It takes alot of bravery to do what you did, especially since you felt "rejected" the last time you spoke out? Perhaps, your first counselor did the right thing by helping you to seek out someone who was more qualified. Therapists have different specialties and perhaps your new therapist is better suited for what you need. Just a thought.
In any case, you did the right thing, in my opinion. If you felt that your T needed to know, then perhaps that what was best for you.
