I can so relate to this. In a checkup I was told I had a tooth that looked bad, sent to an endodontist..who I will never go to again, who told me is was really bad with a lot of bone loss then proceeded to scare the dickens out of me by asking me if I had breast cancer...(I dont) He said the tooth had to come out and sent me to an oral surgeon. I spent a week terrified and in panic mode. Bottom line I went to the oral surgeon and could not have had a better dental experience. Kind and caring and state of the art. It was over in an hour and he doubted very much that a biopsy was needed. I did it anyway just to be sure. Find a good dentist by checking them out online. There are sites that rate them with reviews. It is scary but it will be fine...
