She'd have to go out to the waiting room to turn it off. And by now anyways, the 'spell' has been broken and by all accounts the session ended when the light went on.

I guess I thought she could have told the client that a person is in session until 10 minutes before their session and she could have advised him to alert her to his arrival at that time. She doesn't come out early ever so there's no point in alerting her before your time. Or maybe she did tell him and he ignored or forgot it.

The feeling was that it was like an intruder barged in just as we were getting into some deep stuff. It was a shock to my emotional system and I guess that's why I took it so hard. And, like I said, in reality it ended our session. Those minutes in session are extremely precious to me and I felt that some of them were stolen.
