Do you ever think you are one?
Also do you get PM support from members who will not post in public to you?

I am so entirely one. I don't get just PM support from people, they post too.

lol -- you're reading my mind, Sleeps! I often wonder if I am a "thread killer"! Never heard a term applied to it, though - lol! Always kind of creepy when you post a reply in support of someone else and then NOBODY ever posts anything after that. But... to be fair, SOMEBODY has to make the last post or else they'd go on and one... so I'm sure it happens to everyone.

Very true...

I was thinking that about myself just earlier today.
Years ago I thought it was true of myself on my Star Wars board

Lol yeah I do fear I am one LMO..I sometimes do NOT post in what I deem ER kinda threads in fear someone will see my name and then not read that person's plea for help

I also have like 5 people who reply to my threads in PM as if someone told them not to speak to me and they sneak support in...I may be crazy on this but sometimes I gotta wonder....haha yeah THREAD KILLER

</div></font></blockquote><font class="post">

Whats an ER thread?? *confused*

Yes, you do think a tad too much, IMHO.

I never think it is "seeing my name" that stops people... I always think it is because all of my posts are too long and rambling, so people loose interest and click out of the thread.
I don't worry about stopping "ER" threads because I think in those cases even if my post is too long or too interesting, people usually will respond to the original post asking for advice or support and just ignore mine.
Just a note... none of us seems to have managed to kill this thread yet...

</div></font></blockquote><font class="post">

Are your posts long and rambling?? Must put it on my list of things to do *writes down - investigate dexter's posts*

Sleeps,

Not that I have PM'd you, but when I answer a thread in a PM instead of a post on the board ( which I do sometimes)-- it's always because I fear putting my thoughts/ideas out in public and often feel more comfortable one-on-one.
I can't speak for others-- but I very much doubt it's that they were told not to speak to you--- I think you are a great person and can't imagine anyone not speaking to you.
And yes the "thread killer" is an added fear I also have!
