I know she does not do this with many clients if any. She has been in the field for 40 years. She is one of those therapists who just "goes the extra mile" no matter what. She has done a lot of things for me that I never dreamed she would do like writing letters of support for me to have during the week if i am troubled about something, leaving a voice mail to listen to if I feel I need some support, or taping children's books for me to listen to if I can't sleep. She just does extra stuff and never thinks twice about it. I think because she is in private practice she is able to do things the way she chooses to and because that is just how she is. I just wonder if anyone out there has a therapist who would do something outside of therapy with them in a very public setting. I woke up this morning smiling thinking about how great last night was and how she took the time to join me...off to work I go!
