It is always a rough time when bad anniversaries come around- but you have your niece's wedding coming up that can help balance with goodness- as you said it will keep you busy.

It is always good to reach out as it sounds as you have to others that knew the person to help with the pain- but I fear the pain of the loss will never go away. (perhaps it will dim as time goes on, but i do not know)
