I was diagnosed a couple of weeks ago with migraine variant acephalgic migraine. This is essentially a migraine without the headache, and instead has more bodily symptoms including such as vision problems and weakness in limbs. I have suffered from migraines for most my life, as I'm sure most of you have, and also have nocturnal migraines (that start in the night in sleep). I have had random sets of bodily issues again for years, and only after the birth of last baby have finally gone to get thoroughly sorted out. After many tests inc MRI and multiple blood tests and neurology tests, the diagnosis of migraine variant was given. Just out of curiosity, knowing that many DID'ers are also migraineurs, does anyone else also have a migraine variant dx?
Just to clarify, these symptomologies associated with the migraine variant are different to body memory stuff.
Thank you for your input,
kp
