About twenty years ago I had visual changes and saw an ophthalmologist and he told me it was migraine without the headache. As I got older I began to experience pain and nausea following the visual changes. I now take verapamil prophylactically and seldom have migraine symptoms in any form. A couple of years ago I began to have intermittent aphasia but EEG and MRI are normal so it is possible that that is related to the migraines too. (not a DID person AFAIK)
