Hello to you all, I quit Smoking 4 yrs ago after multiple starts and cheats etc. I also used the patches several times and smoked while they were on, I smoked menthol cigs, then one day I had a menthol lolly and breathed it in like a smoke. It helped, So my addiction became lollies and after years of acupunture , hypnosis (several times), Patches and sheer grit. I eventually stopped. Now four years later I would love to have one when I am feeling stressed but I am scared spitless that one would set me off and it is so hard to quit I am not going to put myself through it. If you want someone to talk to I will gladly help anyone I can IT IS HARD but it CAN be done. A little tip Every time you want a smoke have a glass of water. Change your eating habits When I ate an apple the first thing I craved was a smoke What is your food or habit the sets you off. Also that little buggar in your head is all the nicotine screaming at you GO ON JUST HAVE ONE. Ignore him and go do something else especially with your hands.
