If, in the past, I got hurt or offended, I would ruminate on it for days until I got a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach and it was doing nothing except hurt me emotionally and physically, so now whenever I get hurt, I come out fighting everytime.

How about you guys. Are you easily hurt or offended and, if so, how do you react to it?
One of the things I struggle with is that I don't do well with rejection and take everything personal. I do lash out in anger when people say disrespectful to me. I do consider other people's feelings when relating to them and never hesitate to put them in their place while I continue to find my own place. I make hats and donate them to people who need them or give them to thrift stores Helping other people feel better about their situations is one of the pure joys in my life. I give what I take and take what I give. It keeps me grounded. I pay it forward any way I can. Listening to music, reading and writing in streams of consciousness help me to temper my anger. What ever form of self expression anyone out there has know the feelings that come. from this. I liken it to healing myself from within I saves my from being a slave to my anger, and being my own worst enemy. Thank uou for the question. Be well.
