Im so proud of Mika, I knew she could do it. I have listenend to her laugh before and being able to hear her say words was just wonderful. We both knew that I wanted to talk to Mika last night and she came right out when I started to ask if she could when you finished your home work.

Being able to talk is someting new and scary, I can understand that, but being able to hear her voice last night was so wonderful. To help her speak I just capt saying her favorite line "pinky pink" over and over and over until she said it too, it was so precious
