Hi Richard -- you sound kind of like in "crisis mode" right now. What about talking to your medical doctor? Perhaps he could put you on a TEMPORARY antidepressant -- this might help while you get into therapy. Of course it can take between 3-6 weeks for an A/D to work, but it's still better than nothing.
I know most of us don't like taking medication, but there are times when it's called-for. An A/D isn't a cure-all and it doesn't solve problems, but at least it makes it a little easier coping with these things. Since I'm clinically depressed, I've been on one for years -- without it I would have done myself in long ago with all the losses I've had in my family.
