If you've been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, then I would not worry yourself more with wondering about schizophrenia at this point. These hallucinations can very well be part of the bipolar. I recently had a relapse of my hallucinations in June and my pdoc increased my risperidone. It has helped immensely.

Tell your pdoc about them. They're not going to take your children away for this. The pdoc may want to try an antipsychotic. How have you been feeling otherwise?
Hi thank you so much for the reply, believe it or not its always my mothers voice I hear also.
The thing is my PDoc is not sure yet if I have Bipolar or a personality disorder so I take valporate for my epilepsy and only sertraline for mental health at the moment.
I've felt terrible lately they asked if I wanted to go into hospital but I said no especially when he said I could be home in 3 weeks!I'm bloody agoraphobic for god sake, and where would the kids think I'd have gone.
Honestly the *UK* are so far behind in mental health its un believable my poor husband has been on suicide watch and hasn't been able to work,he's worried sick and the PDoc wouldn't bring appointment forward either.
Thank you for the reassurance I appreciate it,take care
