Hi all,

My name's Mark and I'm from the UK. I was diagnosed as having Bipolar Affective Disorder in 2010 after suffering mood swings spanning 25 years. I have had major depressive and manic episodes and have had psychosis on two occasions. I am still trying to find that fine balance of the correct medication which helps me but does not turn me into a zombie. I write a blog on Bipolar to try and help others from my own experience and I love writing as I find it is really good therapy for me with something to focus my mind on.

I will be a regular contributor on this forum as I have a strong interest in mental health issues.
