You might want to try not having any liquids with your meals. It will force you to chew really well as well as not make you as full.

Also you might have some food sensitivities. Start keeping track of the severity of the discomfort correlated to what you've eaten or the combination thereof. High fructose corn syrup and cream are two of mine. A lot of fat can also make you sick. I also have symptoms like that if I wait too long to eat at which point I have to use Gas-X. If you are waiting until you are famished to eat you might want to eat when you are not quite a ravenous.
