Anyone have any opinions on Apple's Lion operating system?

I do not have personal experience with it, but my sense is that Apple is trying to graft much of iOS onto OS X -- particularly the use of "gestures" to replace the mouse. I think that makes more sense for a device which you hold in your hands than it does for a desktop computer. There gestures seem more natural to me, where they do not for a desktop. I suspect somebody got a 'bug' about gestures and they are now pushing that where it is less suited.
