When I show up I check the "New Posts" button to see what went on since my last visit. Everything shows up regardless of where it is in the forums, as long as it is more recent than my last visit. I'm fairly sure that I clicked male in my profile but I also find results from "Women-Focused Support" in the "New Posts" list. Sometimes I find myself reading a thread and thinking of responding, so I try to make sure that I am not somewhere I'm not supposed to be first. Would it be possible, though, to just have the results not appear in the first place?
