I'm trying to breath. My dad's in surgery right now and I'm on the other side of the country sitting by the phone. He called this morning and gave me the number to his room at the hospital. He's in Tacoma and I'm all the way over here. Is hard. My dad and I have been trying to build a relationship with each other even though we are on different sides of the country. My dad really cares about me. He calls me 3 or 4 times a week. Always listens to me and honestly cares about what happens to me. Sometimes I get so mad at my mother for keeping him away from me during my childhood. She had no right to do that. He cares more about me then she ever has. He is my true parent. Don't get me wrong he's made mistakes. But I understand why he's had to do the things he did. I wish I could be with him. I just want to tell him in person that I Love him.
