the first one got in an accident and had injuries to the point where i had to make the decision to put him to sleep. four days after that, one cat went missing. three weeks later, another one went missing. [it is strange for our very tame cats to go missing, as they usually stick around for attention] and now this latest one makes four. but from the way it sounds, he probably had either a tumor near his stomach or intestinal problems. [my sister is a vet tech so that was her guess, only talked on the phone about it] and my parents think farm cats aren't worth a trip to the vet, so yeah...

i had eight cats, but some are very friendly and loveable (actively seeking you out for attention) and others aren't so tame (a few pets here and there but don't like to be picked up). what makes this so hard is that the four cats i lost were very friendly and loveable ones, and i had a special bond with each one. now i'm only left with one like that...

and on top of things, the last three were all brothers...
