Hi, Markek. Uninsured doesn't automatically mean no treatment. My pdoc charges $80, I've got insurance. I pay $45 co-pay. I don't know what he charges people without insurance, but I'm pretty confident it's a lot less than $80. I told him I couldnt afford expensive copays on drugs; so he started with the generics' & managed to find a combo of 3 that works for me & cost a total of $12/mo.
Ask around. Are you employed? If so, look for a Free Clinic in your area. Their fees for those employed but without insurance (at least here) are very low).
Don't give up.
Absolutely don't give up without a fight!
