A few weeks ago I told my T something "horrifying" about myself and got a similar reaction. I said "wtf, did you not hear what I just said????" So he said he wasn't going to come down on me. By the end of the session he laughed and feigned horrification. It was actually quite funny as he called me an "F'ing hippy". It's hard to understand but I laughed and told him I wasn't buying it. He laughed too, because he obviously wasn't selling it. It made me realize that him being horrified wouldn't have helped.
