Thank you for sharing this. It made me laugh hard. I think that my T, who is a little on the serious and edgy side, would have a really hard time feigning horrification. I have to specifically tell him when I'm being (I think) wittily sarcastic.
I think I realize that him being horrified would not have helped me. As Dr. Muffin said, there's really no where to go from there except in my self satisfaction that at least he recognizes this truthiness about me. And that's not really a good thing.
I suppose I can still be as juvenile in my anger and resentment about his refusal as I want, though.
