I started taking Paxil about four years ago. It's important to remember that everyone handles medication differently & he may or may not have the same experience I did. When I first started taking I was on 20 mg. I woke up in the middle of the night throwing up, & I don't mean I woke up & then threw up, I mean I woke up while throwing up. I had no appetite at first & it made me feel slightly twitchy. But all of this lasted barely a week. Since then it has been great for me (until recently), it does make me really hungry & thristy but I have not put on any weight. I've read that Paxil does have a tendency to "poop" out though, as mine seems to be doing. Well, best of luck!
