Ya know what's really sad? If you or I (I have, so I can say this) sat down in a Law Library, and looked up all the statutes, all the forms, all the rigamarole; and translated it into English; we could probably do a better job than the ADA-or DA did.

Strange thing about Legalese is that it's so objective...the lawyers, for the most part; get all caught up in that objectivity, and semantics that they forget it's about
real live people.

I was told that when I went pro se, and perfected my Brief for the Appellate Division;
I'd have won...unfortunately, I hadn't the money to publish it. My time ran out.

An Appellate Justice told me that---years later. He was amazed that a mere mortal could present such a good argument; with Exhibits "A"--"Z", and an addendum to back me up.

I make no sense of our "Justice" System.
