Why is right. Why?? It's SO unfair! If the abusers spent the maximum allowable sentence in prison for their crimes, it still isn't even close to the sentence that we get to suffer for the rest of our lives!!

But, hey, the prisons are are all over-loaded and can't afford to spend more money providing and watching the prisoners. So, if they behave in prison, they can get out early. And won't be such a drag on the economy ~ and we all know how important the economy is to politicians!

Such a sad, sad reality in current American society.

Very gentle hugs to you avoice. Do be sure to hold up that wall to protect yourself emotionally. Just because he's out does NOT mean that he can walk right back into your life again. You do have some control on that aspect.
