I am from the UK and have a different view of PC. Firstly I have looked at other sites and I feel most comfortable here.
I am also accepting that people on here will talk about diagnoes and meds and therapy, for that is what I believe the site is about.
Obsessed with T - that one made me laugh too - of course I am! - I read somewhere that for therapy to work it has to become the most important part of your life - well it hasn't my kids still take prime place, but it is something I think about everyday - this journey is about major change for me and I don't think that can happen for just 1 hour a week with T or 30 minutes a day - real change is about all day everyday.
I don't just stay with one forum, usually check the todays posts and see what catches my eye - tends to be the psychotherapy one, but there are interesting posts in other forums too.
I also at times really enjoy the games - no-one talks about meds or T there. Then there are the pictures, music, posting and receiving messages of encouragement.
For me the whole bag is there.
I wonder what would make a positive difference for you on here? What forums / discussions are you likely to find more useful / easier to engage in?
Good luck in your decision - Soup
