I hadn't been in therapy a long time until recently. So I go to this T. who has been in practice 20 years. My main issue with her is she would "flip-flop" on everything she said...PLUS never address the issue for which I sought her: anxiety.

In the 5 visits I had with her (remember I presented myself asking to work with my anxiety) she:

**Wanted to see a list of my meds, then spent one entire session clucking her tongue and shaking her head

**Asked to see photographs of the man I last dated and made some "pronouncements" on what his psychological issues were (okkkaaayyyy...he's been out of my life for a year...still waiting to work on anxiety)

**Called one day to say she was taking some people 2 hours away for "horse therapy" costing $150. (Errrr, was Mr. Ed there?) I said with my income reduced while being on disability I could not afford that (never mind I didn't get the horse therapy part!!). Her answer: "Your mother cold pay for it!!!!"

**One visit she told me to start getting paperwork ready for SSI, etc. - Next visit she told me I would never get it because I'm too healthy. Another visit she told me to not go back to my job due to it contributing to making me ill; a couple weeks later she said to return to it.

ARRRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!

Anyone know a good therapist in Central FL?
