You put it so well, Anika! Thank you!
When you first started this thread, SunAngel, I wrote a response, but put it away because it just seemed too obnoxious. Worse yet, I could have gone on far more

because it has applied in so many realms. Without adding those other realms (you're welcome, lol!

), what the hell, here goes...
Yes, VERY (not to brag, but it's my ONE real thing, so...).
A LOT of things...among them: art, studio art silversmithing, with such things as reticulated silver, enamelwork, keum boo, handwrought chain etc etc (one of my teachers told me I was the most creative person she'd ever seen come through the college), arranging objects and use of color (haha, one person came through my house and immediately upon entering said, "Omg, you can tell an artist lives here!" In an apartment with white walls right now...boo!), set work for theatre productions, designing for and putting together archival picture framing, Virtually everyone comments that I don't do anything in an ordinary way --can't help it, it doesn't even occur to me do so!
And this is a biggie -- making things out of "nothing" or somethingly seemingly unrelated.
I've only ever personally met one other person who does this in spades and we clicked immediately -- it was such a THRILL!!! We were off to the races teaming up on many a huge project of course! Many simultaneously. Haha, I'd even shout, "Omg! I have just the thing! And would go running down the street to grab it, and usually other things as well, and run back again, bursting through the door. It was quite the sight. Heh, funny too... He was on a long visit with a neighbor -- whose house we had COMPLETELY taken over. Inside and outside. It aggravated him, but we made it all good months later when we cleared out and cleaned the place to within an inch of its life.
(In terms of mood state... Though it is with me always, when severely depressed, I don't really do anything with the ability. Normal? Yes, definitely. Hypomanic? Stand back. No, seriously, stand back!
)
