I believe there is a time limit as to when you can delete/edit a thread one has created. Go to the "Thread Tools" button on top of the thread for the drop down. I believe in there is an option to delete the thread. If you cannot do this, the best thing to do would be to pm a mod/admin for assistance and they can remove it for you.
