I agree , what purpose is it to have them. But then do u have folks burning the pans totally black on the inside of them.. My opinion if one wants to burn pans , then use the ugly, burnt up ones...

I use them every day.. Just I don't burn them and I am careful not to burn the bottom and inside of the pans black... Guess that is the difference.

I hate pots n pans burnt black on the bottoms..
