A good way to keep stress levels down? Exercise! It's not only a good way to feel better physically, but mentally as well. I agree that a lot of illnesses are caused by stress, I'm not sure about IBS but I would think stress would contribute. I was eating prunes daily, and I was feeling great and then I started feeling bloated, so I stopped. I am confused as far as the whole fiber thing, I mean yeah it keeps you regular but then sometimes it has that bloating effect. I have heard the same thing can happen with wheat products. I guess it all depends on your body as an individual. I do know one thing though, anything sugar free with the ingredients mannitol and sorbital will surely make you run for the bathroom. I feel sick after ingesting sugarfree stuff so now I avoid it. I hope everyone here finds what works for them, I am still always searching for ways to feel better in all aspects!
