You're funny... I'm slow...

But lets take a step back in time...

The first to come to the castle was maiden Omi with the golden, tiger stripped fur. You see the princess found her one day, rather unexpectedly. The fine maiden was not feeling well. Tears in her eyes, a snotty nose... and she was locked in a cage where she was pounced and shoved by her many siblings. The princess opened the doors to the cage and lifted out the frail maiden Omi and held her close. For the first time in what seemed like forever maiden Omi drifted off to sleep knowing she was safe.
Soon the fine maiden Omi found herself back in the horrid cage being pounced on. She just didn't understand. The princess said something but it was in a language she didn't yet understand. Then the princess was gone.
You see, at that time the princess lived in a castle where maidens were not allowed. So the princess went that night and found a new castle. After just one moon the princess returned to maiden Omi and took her from the horrid cage of pouncers. The princess would have to spend many hours nursing the poor sick maiden Omi before her nose dried up and her eyes began to dance with the light of life.

The fine maiden Omi ventured to many castles and many lands with the princess before coming to the one of our story. For a very long time it was just the princess and the fair golden maiden.
