I suffer from the same thing. I hear stuff when I'm depressed mostly at my lowest times but sometimes when I'm pefectly fine. My T calls it Psychotic major depression or depression with psychosis. It's not very common but it does happen and this is where you experiance psychotic behaviors (i.e. hearing voices, seeing things).
