Thanks everybody. Well I had the interview. It went ok. I don't feel like I bombed it, but I don't feel like I hit a home run either. Neither interviewer were particularly skilled, and they didn't have that many questions for me. I did however ask my 2 favourite interview questions "What are you looking for in the successful candidate?" and "How will you measure the person's success at 3 months and 6 months" and then proceeded to tell how my skills and experience fit those criteria and made me suitable for the job.
I sent both interviewers a thank you e-mail as soon as I got home, thanking them for the interview, reiterating why I wanted the job and why my skills would be of value in the role.
So I feel like I've given it my best shot.
The HR person said they were doing more interviews next week, and that I'd hear back from them end of next week or beginning of the following week.
So more waiting. This is now two jobs that I'm waiting to hear back on, and I hate waiting. I find it extremely stressful.
