Thank you so much everyone......I'm a team member at Tim Hortons. Psh, should be easy right? I don't know - no job in a fast-paced environment is as simple as people seem to think it might be. I just got off work with a check for $150 in my pocket, feeling pretty darn good about myself right now. For that reason alone I think I'll probably end up sticking with it, at least for a few months while putting in my applications elsewhere. No, I don't have to support a family. I don't have to work to support myself, even. But I do need to grow up. I'm 17 years old and don't want to rely on Mommy and Daddy to buy me stuff (lol). I'm only working a couple days a week - if I can work out my schedules without pissing off my boss, I think I will be able to juggle both school and work. In the meantime I'm going to apply for a page position at the local library. At the end of the day, I need to work to support my immaturity - I'm the type of person who will buy more clothes so that I don't have to wash the ones I've already got. Sad, huh? I guess it's the age.
