I saw the oprah show too. The trailers were sent in long before that show. they trailers went in shortly after the bus loads of supplies and evacuations. CNN, 60 minutes and prime time, I believe first showed buses going in and then the miles of trailers being parked and the process of signing up for them at the time people were being allowed back in to the area to check on their homes and personal posessions.
Ages yes some are set in their ways. and want to remain its not impossible though. The ill, elderly and children were the first to recieve the evacuation and health care and resources. That is why many children and elderly got separated from their families during the evacuation and resources part of the governements helping the survivors. There are still many children and elderly on those lists by the red cross and so on that have not yet been able to be reunited with their families.
Yes I agree its time for those survivors to start trying to help themselves. The government can only do so much. They cant pay for those hotels and motels for ever. and they can't force people to accept their help either.
Like that childrens story still being told to adults too of the man on a roof top who claimed to all that tried to help no god will save me, and once he died god explained how he sent him the help but it was his own choice to say no or accept that help and in doing so helped himself.
