Maybe this has been said before (I did bring up something that was already addressed in another thread), but I'm sure you all won't mind hearing THIS again.

This is the first online community I ever joined, back in 2008. I've gotten very spoiled, with how sophisticated this software is. I only joined a couple more communities, but it is no where as easy to navigate in as this site.

My favorite features:

1)The subsciption options. Not only is e-mail notification OPTIONAL, you can choose how OFTEN you want them. Then, you can place threads into folders, keeping it very organized. I joined a site where instant e-mail is the only way to be notified of new posts, AND it notifys you of your OWN POSTS! Stupid! And there's no technical support/feedback forum, no moderators.

The only way you can see if any new posts came in (without all those INSTANT, annoying e-mails on every single post) is to open up every one of the threads you posted in. Tedious! There's not even an icon next to your list of subscriptions, like the way they show up bold here, if there's new posts.

2) The "statistics" tab on the profile page. You can easily find all threads started by a member, or all posts by them.

3) Love the large collection of emoticons, especially the animated ones!

4) Being able to hide forums you never visit from the index list, so you get your own customized list there.

5) The forums are so comprehensive. There's something for everyone here, whether you are here for mental illness or not. I mean, there's forums on games and books and recipes!

In short, I wish all sites were this easy to navigate. I wish they all had technical support & moderators. Gotten too spoiled here that I visit this site more than the others!
