I am not very experienced at blogging ~ so I'm not sure what the aim is.

Kind of like ... a soap opera? To keep the readers anxious to read more updates on your blog?

Your experience at the hospital doesn't sound real unusual to me. There are always good and bad parts of hospitalizations. Things often do start off with major dissociation and/or hostility towards pretty much everyone. Otherwise, we wouldn't be there

From there, we go down farther as we realize that we're being held against our wills. Even with all of our wits about us, we couldn't leave until X amount of time passes.

We learn pretty quickly that we might as well work with the team, rather than against them, if we ever want to get out. That's when we seem to make "clicks" within the hospital. Terrific friendships, with our peers. We share our deep, dark thoughts & feelings ~ giving and receiving support. That part really is the best part of hospitalization, in my personal experiences.

That's when the staff starts seeing improvement with you. Soon thereafter, time to go home and begin regular treatment. I have had "days out" allowed from hospitals, but not overnights. I haven't ever had the hospital release me for one week, and then expect me to come back in for additional treatment though. Perhaps that different treatment that isn't unusual in your country?

Just my experience. I hope that your hospitalization did help and give some tips to try for your week away. Hope that it goes well for you ~ best wishes!
